1. Important Notice
All in-app purchases and subscriptions for the LBC: UK, World & Breaking News app are processed entirely by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not handle payments, billing or refunds directly. All refund requests must be submitted to Apple.
2. How to Request a Refund from Apple
Apple handles all refund requests for App Store purchases. To request a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Find the LBC purchase in your list of recent purchases.
- Select "Request a refund" and choose the appropriate reason.
- Submit your request. Apple will review and respond within a few business days.

3. UK Consumer Rights
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If you believe an in-app purchase does not meet these standards, you may have the right to a repair, replacement or refund. These rights are exercised via Apple as the retailer of the App Store purchase.
If you purchased within the last 14 days and the app was not as described, you may be entitled to a full refund under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided you have not commenced using digital content where you expressly waived your right of withdrawal.
4. Cancelling a Subscription
To cancel your subscription before the next renewal date:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select LBC and tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a pro-rata refund for unused time within a billing period unless required by law.
5. Free Trial Cancellation
If you subscribed to a free trial and wish to cancel before you are charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. Failure to cancel in time will result in automatic billing at the standard subscription rate.
